You have a franchise that had so much money at some point, you could, instead of trying to make every title super inclusive, be more historically accurate and be inclusive by showing a vast number of civilizations/societies across titles as they were. The problem is that assassins creed does do alt. history but it never changed historical events. At most Ubisoft created fictional retellings for WHY events happened and then inserted fictional story inbetween.
